About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at FedEx Office is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by utilizing consultative skills to understand and meet customer needs. This role involves managing various store functions, including taking orders, providing product information, and operating equipment. The associate plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining store operations efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by anticipating customer needs and providing solutions.
  • Assist in training store team members and follow supervisors' instructions.
  • Provide expertise in printing, signs, graphics, and shipping product lines.
  • Process complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing information.
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping, including weighing packages and affixing labels.
  • Set up and operate printing and binding equipment using customer-supplied media.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment.
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal, including cash handling.
  • Clean, repair, and stock retail store equipment and supplies.
  • Stay current on merchandising materials and ensure proper product display.
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 6+ months of specialized experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
