About the position
Bargain Hunt is seeking a Leader in Training/Bench Store Leader to join our dynamic management pipeline. Candidates should have at least 2 years of retail management experience and be adept at overseeing store operations in collaboration with the Store Leader. This role is crucial for maintaining the overall store management, including sales performance and personnel oversight.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overall store management including sales performance and personnel oversight.
- Participate in the interviewing and training process for new team members.
- Actively manage performance issues and recruit prospective leadership candidates.
- Maintain store appearance to company standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, stock levels, and recovery.
- Foster a positive work environment and contribute to team morale.
- Take on the role of primary Manager on Duty when necessary, including store opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years in retail management preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional communication abilities and effectiveness in diverse situations.
- Capability to multitask effectively, especially in high-stress scenarios.
