About the position
Bargain Hunt is seeking a Leader in Training/Bench Store Leader to join our dynamic management pipeline. Candidates should have at least 2 years of retail management experience and be adept at overseeing store operations in collaboration with the Store Leader. This role is crucial for our growth and success as a leading retail organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overall store management including sales performance and personnel oversight.
- Participate in the interviewing and training process for new team members.
- Actively manage performance issues and recruit prospective leadership candidates.
- Maintain store appearance to company standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, stock levels, and recovery.
- Foster a positive work environment and contribute to team morale.
- Take on the role of primary Manager on Duty when necessary, including store opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years in retail management preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional communication abilities and effectiveness in diverse situations.
- Capability to multitask effectively, especially in high-stress scenarios.
