About the position

Larsen's Original Bakery is seeking a part-time seasonal Retail Bakery Clerk / Barista to join our busy bakery counter. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and preparing espresso drinks. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during weekends.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the display cases
• Providing customer service with attention to detail
• Assisting customers with personalized cake and special orders
• Packaging baked goods for retail consumption
• Making espresso drinks
• Keeping the front end of the bakery clean at all times
• Completing tasks, logs, and/or closing checklist every day

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Valid King County food handler's permit is required
• Experience in guest services (1 year required)
• Barista experience (1 year preferred)
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 30 LBS
• Reliability and responsibility in a fast-paced environment
