About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restoration Project Manager to oversee and manage restoration projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project management, with the ability to effectively coordinate resources, schedules, and budgets. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to utilize construction management software to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of restoration projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Develop project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project status, changes, and expectations.
• Ensure quality control throughout the restoration process by conducting inspections and assessments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, but would consider a skilled tradesman or remodeler, looking for a change.
• Basic knowledge of construction estimating practices and contract management.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Xactimate, would be a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with construction estimating software, such as Xactimate, would be a plus, but not required.
