About the position

The Boca Raton is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the restaurant operations. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, ensuring outstanding customer service, and maximizing profits. The supervisor will be responsible for training and supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and managing product quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, counsel, and discipline staff for efficient operation of the outlets.
• Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate pertinent information to staff.
• Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees.
• Visually inspect and take corrective action to ensure facilities are appealing to guests.
• Manage and monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in the restaurant.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on service and food quality, and resolve complaints.
• Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supply levels for necessary items.
• Review and evaluate customer satisfaction and recommend new marketing or operational policies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and local regulations regarding food service.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; four-year college degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a related field preferred.
• Food Service Sanitation certification and Alcohol Service permit (if state required).
• CPR certification preferred.
• Strong mathematical abilities for tracking inventory and revenue.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in writing skills.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
