About the position
The Restaurant Porter at Whataburger is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service while managing food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining the overall quality of restaurant services. The position requires collaboration with team members to ensure timely service and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers and deliver accurate orders on time.
- Prepare and deliver food products following quality standards for food preparation and handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all shifts are covered.
- Communicate issues to the shift leader, supervisor, or store manager.
- Operate the Point of Sale cashiering system and handle payments.
- Perform cleaning duties including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the work environment.
- Present a well-groomed, uniformed, and professional appearance.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service.
- Valid Food Handler Certification (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Nice-to-haves
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Food Handlers Certification.
