About the position

In this role, you will have essential duties that include staffing, scheduling, evaluating, training, and developing team members. You will assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. You will also be responsible for maintaining training and development procedures to meet superior guest service standards, preparing performance appraisals, and ensuring that your assigned outlet operates to exceptional standards. You will work closely with the Outlet Manager and Chefs to ensure proper food preparation and presentation, monitor team members, and manage inventory levels. Confidentiality in all departmental and company matters is crucial, and you will perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

  • Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop and monitor team members.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures and rules including operations manuals.
  • Establish and maintain training and development procedures to ensure superior guest service standards are met.
  • Prepare and deliver performance appraisals for assigned team.
  • Understand department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget.
  • Ensure assigned outlet is well staffed, organized and operating to exceptional standards.
  • Open and close work area at scheduled times, ensuring full preparation for operation/function; ensure cleanliness and security of company assets.
  • Work with Outlet Manager and Chefs to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor team members and direct necessary coaching as needed.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory levels for assigned outlet.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 2-3 years prior experience as a supervisor or in a leadership role.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook programs.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
