About the position
Viva Chicken is seeking enthusiastic Restaurant Team Members, including Cashiers, Food Runners, and Bussers, to join our fast-casual dining environment. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service while preparing and serving our signature Pollo a la Brasa and other delicious Peruvian dishes. Team members will be integral in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring food safety, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service as a cashier and food runner.
- Prepare and serve food items according to recipe guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Complete daily prep lists by cutting, portioning, cooking, and sautéing as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation practices diligently.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and commitment to good food and good mood.
- Ability to multi-task and perform multiple functions simultaneously.
- Basic kitchen experience is helpful but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to read and follow recipe guidelines and instructions.
- Must be at least 16 years old and physically capable of reaching, bending, balancing, and carrying large objects.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- SERVsafe certification or equivalent knowledge is advantageous.
