About the position

The position involves performing routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures related to respiratory care. The individual will be responsible for maintaining respiratory equipment and ensuring that ventilator and life support equipment are operable. Additionally, the role includes providing routine respiratory patient assessments.

Requirements

  • Must have at least one year clinical experience in all modes of respiratory care (including clinical time spent during educational course).
  • Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, attendance at required training, and reporting suspected compliance issues to the Compliance Officer.
  • High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required.
  • Presently enrolled in a CoARC approved School.
  • Must be involved in the clinical portion of the Respiratory Program of the CoARC approved School.
  • BCLS (CPR) certification at time of hire, in accordance with the AHA curriculum for Healthcare Provider's Program.
  • ACLS/PALS/NRP certification according to job assignment within 6 months of receiving NBRC CRT Credential, in accordance with the AHA curriculum for Healthcare Provider's Program.
