About The Position
This is a rare opportunity to practice respiratory therapy in one of the most specialized and impactful clinical environments — the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit — at a nationally recognized medical center and children's hospital in Spokane, WA. You'll work alongside physicians and nurses to deliver life-critical respiratory care to the most vulnerable patients from day one. Requirements
- Education sufficient to meet licensure or certification requirements
- Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to plan and implement individualized patient care plans in the NICU
- Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring equipment, and resuscitation devices
- Perform patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and oxygen therapy
- Assist physicians in the delivery and direction of respiratory therapy services
- Complete required department and unit-specific orientation programs
- Perform additional qualified patient care functions as needed
