About the position

The Residential Remodeling Production Manager at BOWA is responsible for overseeing the completion and profitability of multiple remodeling projects. This role involves managing the construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of customer satisfaction. The Production Manager collaborates closely with the Sales and Design Teams, providing expertise in residential construction during the design phase and throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and develop BOWA production employees.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-solve complex remodeling issues that arise during construction.
  • Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, overseeing performance and contracts.
  • Ensure jobsite safety, cleanliness, security, and protection from damage during construction by supervising on-site Superintendents.
  • Accountable for the profitability of remodeling projects.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Production to improve team processes.
  • Prepare pre-construction packages and assist the Project Leader during the design phase.
  • Review budgets, project clarifications, and create production schedules.
  • Lead preconstruction meetings and manage material purchasing and bidding.
  • Attend regular project meetings and lead weekly site meetings with clients.
  • Write weekly status updates and manage Superintendents with site visits and training.
  • Complete accounting processes including percent completes, back charges, and client invoices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in residential construction field operations.
  • 5+ years experience supervising construction scopes of work.
  • Experience in managing, training, and developing people.
  • Excellent communication skills with employees, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Working knowledge of remodeling trade installation requirements and techniques.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations, Construction Quality Control, First Aid, and CPR certification.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
