About the position
The Residential Electrical Service Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing residential electrical equipment in customers' homes. This role requires strong communication skills to explain services and options to customers and co-workers, along with a commitment to providing exemplary service and maintaining high ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair residential electrical equipment in customers' homes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers.
- Perform bulb replacements for fixtures below 10.
- Replace light switches and smoke detectors.
- Install and replace ceiling fan/light fixtures below 10.
- Install surge protection devices.
- Replace standard and GFCI outlets.
- Install weather-proof outlet covers.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in residential electrical installation and service.
- Electrician's license (where required).
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
