About the position

The Resident Services Coordinator at Community Partners for Affordable Housing (CPAH) is responsible for implementing resident services programs aimed at eviction prevention and housing stabilization. This role involves direct interaction with residents, providing resources, coordinating community activities, and collaborating with property management and service providers to support vulnerable families in affordable housing. The position requires a commitment to inclusivity and a passion for affordable housing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide community resources to households to assist with eviction prevention and housing stabilization.
  • Coordinate with on-site property management to address resident issues.
  • Coordinate closely with service providers offering case management for residents living in CPAH properties.
  • Implement community building and health/wellness activities to foster a positive community culture.
  • Document activities and outcomes, assisting management in compiling reports.
  • Develop partnerships with community partners.
  • Guide agency interns and support the CPAH Youth Program.

Requirements

  • At least two years' experience providing direct service in a social service setting, including work with older individuals.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and individuals facing housing barriers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with upset individuals.
  • Experience using resident-centered, trauma-informed, and de-escalation practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ability to enter and review data.
