About the position
The Resident Monitor (Relief) position at Dismas Charities involves overseeing the custody, security, and maintenance of the facility and its residents. Responsibilities
- Monitors residents by observing, documenting, and ensuring accountability while enforcing rules and responsibilities.
- Assists with managing program services, including installing electronic monitoring equipment and conducting alcohol and urine surveillance testing.
- Conducts scheduled internal and external inspections of the facility to maintain health, safety, and accountability standards.
- Maintains knowledge of and follows all procedures and policies outlined in the operational manuals.
- Responsible for general housekeeping duties within the center, including cleaning and sanitation tasks.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups in both routine and emergency situations.
- One year of paid work experience.
