Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to residents based on their individual needs and care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation.
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, families, and team members.
- Address resident needs with respect and attention to safety.
- Attend and participate in required training, conducted at time of hire and/or annually, that will include training designed to assure resident safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors preferred, but not required.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
- Maintain good attendance, including timely arrival.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required.
- Must comply with Pine Haven's policies.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must pass background check and drug / TB screening.
