About The Position

Receives and processes all incoming telephone calls for hotel reservations. Explains room availability, property amenities, special packages and provides general information. Ensures superior guest service. Accurately processes information for group accounts and bookings.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Must be able to read, understand and speak English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol.
  • Computer literate with the ability to type 25 wpm.
  • Ability to learn new software applications (CMS casino system, IGT Slot system, LMS hotel system).
  • Professional verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • One to two years of reservations or guest service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receives and processes all incoming telephone calls for hotel reservations.
  • Answers and addresses guest concerns and questions. Explains room availability, property amenities, and availability of special packages or promotions.
  • Accurately inputs all booking and reservations information into the computer system
  • Other duties as assigned.
