Requirements

  • Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to motivate a variety of personality types.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with brand-specific PMS preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant computer skills.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Hospitality customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for all inbound calls.
  • Manage in-house reservations, guest preferences, and room availability.
  • Relay guest requests to the appropriate departments.
  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Handle cancellations and maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
  • Manage rooming lists for the Sales Team and communicate reservation details to the Front Desk team.
  • Make reservations for restaurants, transportation, or entertainment as needed.
  • Actively address and resolve guest-related issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in distributing workload among the Front Desk team and provide training on phone etiquette, entering rooming lists, and proper documentation.
  • Uphold the hotel’s standards and integrity and enforce OHM and hotel credit policies.
  • Assist the Front Desk during lunch breaks or periods of high guest volume.
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments.
  • Report to work on time and in uniform as per company policy.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures related to this position.
  • Greet guests warmly and embrace the O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.
  • Perform additional duties as required or requested.
  • Take responsibility for assigned team members in the absence of the Supervisor.
  • Assign work and ensure proper performance of assigned team members.
