About The Position

This is a Research Assistant position within the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Criminology at the University of Ottawa. The role involves supporting research activities under the supervision of Eduardo González Castillo. The position is classified as a Research Assistant (CUPE) and is part of an academic term. The total work hours are 130, with a start date of June 01, 2026, and an end date of August 31, 2026. The hourly rate depends on student status: undergraduate students will be paid at $31.89/hour, and graduate students at $50.25/hour (2024-2025 rates). These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity upon ratification. The language of work is French.

Requirements

• Bonne connaissance des banques de données scientifiques.
