About The Position
Research assistant to work ongoing experiments using rodent models of aging and neurodegenerative disease to evaluate potential neurotherapeutics. Position will primarily involve mouse handling and colony maintenance, assess gene and protein expression in mouse tissue, and help coordinate VA animal protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in any field; OR Associate's AND 3 years of relevant experience; OR 4 years of relevant experience; OR Equivalent combination of training and experience
Nice To Haves
- Two semesters of experience in a neuroscience lab
- Data analysis in excel
- Histology analysis in Image J
Responsibilities
- Mouse handling and colony maintenance
