About the position
The Research & Development (R&D) Coordinator plays an essential role in driving Technical and Innovation-focused projects, ensuring the successful execution of R&D initiatives. This position involves organizing and managing technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve product development goals. The R&D Coordinator is responsible for supporting technical experiments, prototype development, and the integration of advanced technologies while ensuring projects align with company objectives and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing R&D and other cross-functional projects.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, providing updates to stakeholders.
- Support team members in prioritizing and resolving project-related challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of R&D activities, including experiment data, reports, and meeting notes.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal reviews and leadership.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between the R&D team and other departments, such as Technical (Engineering) and Quality (QA, QC and Lab).
- Coordinate and schedule team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and external collaborations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D or laboratory setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello).
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle is a plus.
Benefits
