About The Position

AIR LIQUIDE CANADA INC. is seeking a dynamic individual for a dual-role position as an Inside Sales Representative and Hotshot Driver. This role involves both proactive sales engagement with existing and potential customers, as well as the immediate and safe transport of critical goods, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in an industrial or technical environment.
  • Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving light to medium-duty trucks is essential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize urgent tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for hotshot deliveries.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset.
  • Knowledge of industrial gases or welding products is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and lead follow-up.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and offering suitable products/services.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals.
  • Process orders, manage customer inquiries, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Safely and efficiently transport critical goods and equipment to customer sites or other designated locations on an urgent basis.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members regarding delivery status.
  • Represent AIR LIQUIDE CANADA INC. professionally during all interactions.
