About the position

Glory Global Solutions is seeking a Repair Technician to join our team in Carrollton, TX. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that returned products are rendered serviceable through cleaning, repairing, testing, and evaluating the performance of electronic and mechanical components. This position requires adherence to standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data effectively. In this role, the Repair Technician will be responsible for the setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of returned products. The technician will operate necessary equipment and test fixtures, recognize failures, identify root causes, and repair products efficiently while adhering to quality standards. Accurate recording of repair data in company systems is essential, as is monitoring and communicating any needed supplies or tools for efficient workflow in the repair area. Maintaining a clean and efficient work environment is also a key responsibility, along with following established procedures and policies set by management. The Repair Technician will proactively assist with various tasks to support overall business objectives, recognize areas for continuous improvement, and complete special projects as assigned. Additionally, the technician may assist in material handling and inventory control as needed and is expected to attend meetings and training sessions as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of returned products.
  • Operate required equipment and test fixtures.
  • Recognize failures, identify root causes, and repair products in a cost-effective manner according to quality standards.
  • Record repair data in company systems accurately.
  • Monitor, identify, and communicate any needed supplies, tools, and other items for efficient workflow in the repair area.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Follow and execute procedures and policies established by management.
  • Proactively aid with various tasks to support overall business objectives.
  • Recognize and communicate areas for continuous improvement.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in material handling and inventory control as needed.
  • Attend meetings and training as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A. A.) in Electromechanics or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in electronic and/or mechanical components repair.
  • Prior experience servicing and repairing Automated Teller Machines (ATM's)/Automated money handling machines is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving competency.
  • Functional knowledge and experience with the use of basic repair tools.
  • Ability to follow and execute procedures and policies established by management.
  • Demonstrates competency in primary repair within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite Applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize competing demands.
  • Possess a positive attitude; is conscientious and responsive.
  • Works well independently yet is cooperative in working with team assignments and activities.
