About The Position

The Rental Supervisor works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that rental spaces are safe, well-maintained, and meet the needs of diverse community users. This Rental Supervisor manages the promotion and development of recruitment and relationship development with potential renters, ensuring a positive experience for renters throughout their experience, and overseeing the rental staff team that support facility rentals. Working in close collaboration with the Program Manager, the Rental Supervisor leads a diverse team on-site, is responsible for financial management, evaluates program performance, and fosters strong relationships with community partners. This position is full-time with 40-hour per week and includes benefits. Flexible availability is required allowing for the Supervisor to support evening and weekend rentals as needed on site.

Requirements

  • University degree or diploma in Business, Hospitality, Community Development or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in rental coordination, facility management, or customer service.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in staff supervision.
  • Intermediate (Standard) First Aid, CPR/AED Level C, WHMIS.
  • Clear Police Intervention Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, facility booking systems and other forms of technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of rental operations.
  • Respond to rental inquiries, conduct site tours, and guide clients through booking and contract processes.
  • Ensure rental spaces are clean, safe, and prepared to use, coordinating with facility, asset and custodial teams.
  • Develop and maintain rental schedules, calendars and usage reports.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to promote rental opportunities and develop and maintain rental relationships with various community organizations, local businesses, and community members.
  • Monitor rental performance metrics and client satisfaction, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Develop and operationalize approved rental policies and procedures, and pricing structure.
  • Complete file audits, data recording, reporting and other administrative duties as identified.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, volunteers, and students.
