Join our dynamic team as a Ski Resort Rental Manager at Mammoth Mountain, where you will lead the rental department and create memorable experiences for employees and guests. This role combines your passion for skiing with your expertise in rental management, allowing you to immerse yourself in the exhilarating world of winter sports while overseeing operations and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the rental department at the ski resort.
• Create memorable experiences for employees and guests.
• Manage a team and provide exceptional service to guests.
• Enforce safety protocols and provide proper training to staff.
• Maintain knowledge of ski products and equipment, including the latest advancements and trends.
• Utilize rental management software, particularly Siriusware, for inventory management and point-of-sale transactions.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of skiing and snowboarding equipment, including boots, skis, snowboards, bindings, and related accessories.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with ski resort operations and local skiing/snowboarding conditions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ski resort rental management or a related field.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• In-depth knowledge of ski resorts, including terrain, facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Proven expertise in rental management software, particularly Siriusware.
