About The Position

This role involves the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of equipment between various sites. The driver will be responsible for communicating with customers regarding pickup and delivery times, reporting any issues encountered, and performing thorough inspections of equipment using the EMR Application. This includes documenting equipment condition, fuel levels, hours, and taking clear photographs. Customer signatures will also be captured within the EMR Application.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or 3 years equivalent work experience.
• Valid CDL Class A License is required.
• Knowledge of DOT Safety Regulations and defensive driving principles.
• Experience in Hauling equipment.
• Experience with rollback, tractor, landoll and lowboy trailers.
• Accurately complete pick up/delivery paperwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to changing priorities and business needs.
• Ability to convey information clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading equipment.
• Safely transporting equipment from site to site.
• Calling each customer before every pickup and delivery to communicate an estimated delivery time and providing follow-up calls for updated delivery times if delays occur.
• Timely communication of issues encountered on site and/or on company property that causes unnecessary delays or progress.
• Timely communication of truck related repairs and/or concerns.
• Recording delivery issues via the delivery issues tab found in the EMR Application.
• Performing full inspection via the EMR Application of equipment, including a walk-around inspection to document condition, fuel, hours, point measurements when applicable, operator’s manual, and any safety features.
• Taking clear pictures of each side of the equipment.
• Capturing customer signatures in EMR Application.
