About The Position

Under the direction of Rentals management, the Rentals Consultant is responsible for providing professional, knowledgeable and efficient advice and assistance to enable customers to rent the appropriate products on time via a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all types of people in a positive fashion
  • Excellent communications skills both in terms of clear conversational skills and in terms of listening/hearing the customer, and providing clear information back to the customer.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Detailed and accurate.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Presents a professional image to match the Vistek brand.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Graduate of a recognized college or university photographic or video program
  • Minimum of one year working in an industry environment
  • Competent in Microsoft suite
  • Comfortable using computerized inventory or other ERP system

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/French would be an asset.
  • Previous retail experience considered a definite asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of best in class service to customers
  • Assess and analyze customer requests either in person, via emails or phone calls or when prepping equipment, to ensure that the best solution is provided for the customer’s needs.
  • Prep equipment orders quickly and on a timely basis
  • Conduct tasks carefully and thoroughly
  • Test, double check and store accurately
  • Keep personally up to date on products through Visnet, seminars, web, magazines, discussions with colleagues, membership in associations etc.
  • Keep environment organized, clean and tidy
  • Work on other various projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Create optimal rental opportunities through offering attachments and other ‘up-selling’ as appropriate
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Follow up calls to previous customers
  • Make our phone and email customers feel cared about and cared for on an efficient and timely basis through timely response to phone calls and emails
  • Thorough and timely resolution to customer requests and needs
  • Efficient completion and processing of orders
  • Investigation and resolution on outstanding orders.
