About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Rentals Services Supervisor, the Rentals Attendant is responsible for handling supervision of Al Hattendorf Center during assigned rentals. The Rentals Attendants hours will vary between 0-15 hours per week. This position requires the attendant to check the building schedule and prepare for all activities to be held for that day, which includes room set-ups and breakdowns. They will also maintain the cleanliness of the Al Hattendorf Center on a continual basis by assisting in minor custodial responsibilities such as sweeping, mopping, light snow removal, and disposing of garbage, as needed. The attendant will report work order and maintenance needs to the Rentals Services Supervisor, ensure a safe environment, and assist in providing First Aid and emergency supervision, which includes calling paramedics if necessary and completing appropriate PDRMA reports. The role involves overall supervision to ensure that all facility uses are running smoothly and that customers are served above and beyond expectations. The job must be performed safely and in compliance with district policies, procedures, work and safety rules.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Must possess CPR/First Aid certification or ability to complete necessary certification in training.
  • Ability to work assigned shifts.
  • Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions.
  • Ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in recreational facility supervision preferred.
