About the position

The Rental Administrator is responsible for managing the branch rental fleet, overseeing equipment allocations, and ensuring efficient operations within the rental department. This role includes training branch rental support staff, conducting inventory management, and acting as a liaison between rental and inside sales functions. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to supervise staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage branch rental fleet through equipment allocations.
  • Train branch rental support staff.
  • Conduct inventory management and monitor rental and customer property items.
  • Forecast equipment requirements and manage GPS tracking and asset tagging.
  • Oversee repair processes and ensure timely completion with adequate repair part inventory.
  • Participate in branch inventory counts, both annual and cycle counts.
  • Act as a liaison between rental and inside sales functions.
  • Finalize invoices on rental repairs and monitor contracts for pricing accuracy.
  • Generate sales orders with proper pricing in the system.
  • Monitor reports for utilization and payback.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, processes, and policies.
  • Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Wellhead and Gate Valve knowledge.
  • Assembly skills.
  • Highly advanced and specialized computer skills.
  • Advanced language skills.
  • Advanced mathematical skills.
  • Highly advanced reasoning ability.
