About the position

SMB Capital, in a joint venture with Kershner Trading Group in NYC, is looking for experienced US Equities Traders with a strong track record. This role allows traders to seek capital and technology to build their trading business while maintaining the autonomy of working from a remote location, connected to a team of high-performing traders. The technology provided includes a proprietary execution platform, custom filters, single stock scripts, and automated trading, enabling traders to play more offense and generate more PnL. The SMB Capital - Kershner Trading Group JV provides all capital and a PnL firm infrastructure to traders who actively trade stock instruments in financial markets. Traders share the profits from their trading activity with the firm. Each trader sets their own style and strategy, trading in U.S. equity, options, and futures markets on both a manual and automated basis. Compensation in this role is based fully on an individual trader's performance. The JV empowers independent thinkers who have the discipline to set long-term goals, the adaptability to shift gears while staying on course, and who are open to being both a student and teacher in a learning organization. Responsibilities

• Trade U.S. equity, options, and futures markets both manually and through automated systems.
• Utilize proprietary execution platform and custom trading tools to maximize PnL.
• Collaborate with a team of traders and technology professionals to enhance trading strategies.
• Adapt trading strategies based on market conditions and personal performance metrics.
• Share profits from trading activities with the firm.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a US Equities Trader.
• Experience in trading stock instruments in financial markets.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a remote team.
• Strong analytical skills and adaptability to changing market conditions.
