About the position
VocoVision is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide remote interpreting services for a school district in Washington. This full-time position involves working with middle school students and collaborating with a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH).
Responsibilities
- Interpret for a small group of middle school students using American Sign Language (ASL)
- Collaborate with a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to facilitate communication in the classroom.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of interpreter experience
- EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
- Completion of the EIPA written exam
