About the position
The Remote Automation QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of client-facing web applications through API automation testing. This role involves developing detailed test cases for new features and functionalities, as well as writing automation test scripts using various tools. The position emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement within the Quality Assurance team.
Responsibilities
- Perform API automation testing on client-facing web applications.
- Develop detailed test cases for new features and functionalities.
- Write and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, or SoapUI.
- Ensure the quality of web applications through thorough testing and collaboration with the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, performing Automation testing.
- 3+ years of experience performing API automation testing on client-facing web applications.
- Experience with developing detailed test cases for new features and functionalities.
- Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts to automate the execution of test cases.
- Experience with using one of the following automation frameworks/tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, SoapUI.
- Experience with SQL to query the database, stored procedures, triggers, functions.
