About the position

Our Remote Inside Sales Agent position is available for candidates based on the states of Oklahoma, Minnesota, Nebraska, Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas, and Louisiana. Applicants must reside within these specified locations to be considered for this role. As an Inside Sales Agent, you will be handling inbound calls and warm leads, consulting with customers on their insurance needs and matching the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert sales leads into policyholders. From day one, you will begin paid training in a remote work environment. All insurance representatives need to hold a Property & Casualty Insurance license. If you do not have one, no worries, paid training also includes licensing! Training extends over a period of 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires. You will have opportunities for rewards and recognition, and you must be available to work a schedule of 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day with a mid-morning start time. Example: 11am-8pm (CST). This schedule can be expected for a minimum of 12 months before consideration for another shift.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2-3 years sales experience preferred
  • 2 years of sales/service-related work experience required
  • Strong, engaging interpersonal and persuasion skills
  • Ability to communicate well to both prospects and customers
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and organizational skills
  • Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency
  • Property and Casualty License required after hire

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a contact center sales environment
  • Familiarity with insurance products
