About the position
Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season to assist customers with their tax preparation needs. This role involves providing tax advice, preparing tax returns, and utilizing video communication tools to interact with clients. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely and requires a strong background in tax preparation and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document interactions with customers to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of paid tax experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax prep software.
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax prep experience.
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws.
- Passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities and providing excellent customer service.
- Excitement for interacting with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
- Dedicated hardwired internet connection meeting Intuit Security criteria.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
