The Reliability Tech C position is responsible for executing assigned tasks and duties with a focus on safe work practices and high-quality, precision work. This role supports "Great Products & Service" through adherence to standards and best practice application. The technician will learn and grow in knowledge of maintenance practices and equipment performance, understanding their impact on manufacturing processes and business objectives. They will provide feedback on job assignment needs and improvement opportunities to peers and leadership. The role involves maintaining manufacturing process and support equipment to the highest reasonable performance levels, including mechanical systems such as power transmission components (bearings, pulleys, shafts, couplings, sprockets, chains, belts, motors, gearboxes), conveyance systems (product/process related and utility tied like pumps, piping), and mechanical control systems (hydraulic & pneumatic elements). Responsibilities include troubleshooting and executing repairs of equipment causing safety, quality, or downtime issues, communicating findings and correction steps, and executing proactive maintenance plans (Preventive, Predictive, and Condition Maintenance). The technician will also execute assigned work orders for projects and process improvement efforts and assist higher-level technicians in the installation and removal of general mechanical systems.
