About the position

As a Relationship Advisor at Pinnacle, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, focusing on their unique financial needs. This position emphasizes client service rather than sales, allowing you to provide personalized financial planning and investment management strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing expert advice on financial planning, investment management, retirement strategies.
  • Analyze clients' financial status, including assets, liabilities, income, and expenses, to develop individualized financial plans.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of clients' financial portfolios, ensuring alignment with financial goals and risk tolerance.
  • Advise clients on risk management, insurance needs, and tax-efficient strategies for wealth accumulation and preservation.
  • Assist clients with retirement planning, including IRAs, 401(k) plans, and pension options.
  • Recommend suitable investment strategies based on clients' risk profiles, time horizons, and financial goals.
  • Stay current with financial markets, regulations, and industry trends to provide up-to-date advice.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including licensing and continuing education standards.
  • Utilize financial planning software and tools to prepare financial reports and presentations for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., portfolio management, financial planning) to ensure comprehensive client service.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and work to grow your client base through referrals.
  • Proactively identify new technologies and strategies to improve the existing service model.

Requirements

  • CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation is preferred but not required.
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses are required.
  • State insurance license for life, health, and variable annuities is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Client Service Associate, Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, or similar role in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, retirement planning, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to acting in the best interest of the client.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred exposure to Raymond James platforms.
