About The Position

Join our CIBC Chief Administrative Office team and help drive CIBC's digital transformation. As part of this team, you'll play a key role in supporting regulatory supervision activities. As a Regulatory Supervision Co-op, you'll issue queries to stakeholders, manage the team's mailbox, and help generate and analyze reports to ensure compliance and effective oversight. You'll leverage your skills in Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Office to organize information and contribute to process improvements. This role offers a valuable opportunity to learn about regulatory functions within a large financial institution and gain hands-on experience in business operations. You'll work closely with experienced professionals and participate in a collaborative environment, developing your technical and analytical abilities. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to use these tools to generate and analyze reports.
  • Detail-oriented with close attention to accuracy and organization when managing communications and reports.
  • Pursuing a degree or diploma in business or commerce.
  • Motivated to gain hands-on experience in regulatory supervision.
  • Works well in a team environment and contributes positively to group goals.
  • Strong communicator, able to clearly convey information, both verbally and in writing.
  • Comfortable interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the regulatory supervision mailbox, ensuring timely responses and proper organization of communications.
  • Issue queries to stakeholders, track responses, and follow up as needed to support regulatory processes.
  • Create, analyze, and distribute reports using Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Office to support compliance and operational decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records and organize information to support regulatory activities.
  • Work with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and contribute to process improvements.
