About the position

The position requires the individual to facilitate registration and withdrawal procedures for students. This includes registering all new students and gathering information on students who are withdrawing or transferring from the home campus. The role also involves assisting in the placement and scheduling of students in the appropriate classes based on their needs. Additionally, the individual will handle record requests from other schools for transferring students and assist in gathering pertinent data such as PEIMS, graduation information, and scholarship information. The position requires filing all Personal Record Cards and other student records, answering telephones, screening calls, and responding to routine inquiries. The individual will communicate registration and withdrawal procedures to all stakeholders on an ongoing basis and assist counselors and other front office staff as needed. Following established safety procedures and maintaining confidentiality at all times is crucial. The individual is expected to maintain a high level of ethical behavior and professional growth by attending inservices and meetings as required. Other duties may be assigned by the Supervisor or Principal.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required in English.
  • Two (2) years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of the use of office equipment including the use of personal computer.
