About The Position

This is a 13-week contract assignment for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The role guarantees 36 hours per week, with the possibility of 48 hours. The RRT will provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care to inpatient and outpatient populations of all ages. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, administering respiratory treatments, supporting life-saving interventions, and educating patients and families. The therapist must be adaptable to working across various hospital units and managing diverse respiratory conditions. EPIC experience is a mandatory requirement and must be clearly stated upon submission.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Active NBRC RRT certification.
• Active New York State license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification.
• AHA PALS certification.
• AHA NRP certification.
• EPIC experience (must be noted on submission).
• Labor & Delivery / Neonatal Resuscitation experience.
• Critical care proficiency.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
• NY Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be included with submission.
• Skills checklist (within 1 year) required.
• 1 supervisory reference required.
• Full work history required.
• Matching permanent address required (validated during compliance).
• Candidates must not reside in restricted NY counties per facility policy.
