About the position

Responsibilities
- Completes orientation according to expected standards.
- Works with close supervision, responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice.
- Manages workload as assigned, organizing and completing assignments efficiently.
- Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of interdisciplinary care.
- Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients to help them maintain or regain optimal function.
- Engages patients, families, and caregivers in care planning without judgment or discrimination.
- Knowledgeable of ethical issues related to professional nursing practice and follows established policies.
- Aware of high reliability principles to deliver consistent care and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S.
- Proficiency in basic written and spoken English.
