About the position
The Registered Nurse position at Adoration Home Health and Hospice involves providing compassionate nursing care to clients in various settings. Responsibilities
- Assess health problems and needs of clients served.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Maintain medical records and administer nursing care.
- Advise clients and staff on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Provide case management and monitor health status.
- Review daily appointment needs and ensure coverage.
- Monitor staff performance and medication administration.
- Review incident reports and provide follow-up assessments.
- Implement changes based on appointment findings and complete service notes.
- Approve orders for prescribed medications and treatments.
- Address acute and ongoing health issues, including documentation of changes in condition.
- Attend Interdisciplinary Planning meetings as scheduled.
- Review medication administration records for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide on-call service and manage resources effectively.
- Perform PRN assessments for falls risk and skin integrity.
- Conduct bi-weekly orientation training as scheduled.
- Complete monthly nursing summaries and reconciliations.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing or valid Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Valid driver's license from state of residence.
- At least 18 years of age and one year of nursing experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
