Gunnison Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their small and highly qualified team. This is an opportunity to journey with the team as they provide exceptional care to patients. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
- RN license current in the state of Colorado or compact state.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS maintenance expected.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and care for patients by collaborating with all members of the health care team.
- Assess and triage individuals who present for help with their own health issues.
- Cross train and float to other areas of nursing as required.
- Participate in process improvement and consistently offer solution-based input.
- Provide patient and family-centered care.
- Continue to attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practices.
