About The Position

Join Aurora BayCare’s 19-bed Observation Unit—a fast-paced environment designed with a unique structure and floor layout to support efficient, high-quality care for a diverse patient population. Our team nursing model fosters collaboration among CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, ensuring seamless delivery of daily cares, assessments, medications, and discharge planning. While we specialize in postoperative care—including orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, urologic surgery, cardiac pacemaker/ablation, and breast surgery—we also manage general medical patients requiring short-term observation stays. Many patients are cared for by our in-house hospitalist team, streamlining communication and coordination. Team members may also float to other units when needed, providing opportunities to broaden skills and experience across the hospital. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
