About The Position

The Emergency Department at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana, is searching for compassionate, skilled, and resilient Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team. Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (RQI) within 7 days of hire or prior to independent patient care.
• Knowledge of professional nursing practices, patient care standards, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize, adapt to changing patient conditions, and function effectively in a team-based environment.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department or acute care experience.
• Emergency Department Certification.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC and ENPC within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Deliver care in a Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Accurately document care and educate patients and families.
• Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with critical thinking and prioritization.
