About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Atrium Health Pineville PreSurgery Holding department plays a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care. This position is responsible for the preoperative preparation of surgical patients and the phase II recovery and discharge for patients leaving the facility post-surgery. The department features 24 individual patient care bays, access to two medication rooms with Omnicells, and a centralized nurse’s station. Teammates collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to deliver excellent patient care. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• Previous PreSurgery experience strongly preferred
• PreOp & Phase II recovery experience
