About the position
The Registered Nurse at Genesis Health Group is responsible for providing and directing safe, effective, and culturally competent patient care in a clinic setting. This role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practices, while adhering to professional standards. The nurse will also participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide and direct patient care in a clinic setting.

- Adhere to Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA.
- Participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
- Coordinate work and provide guidance to other staff as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Registered Nurse licensure in Iowa or Illinois required upon hire.
- Less than 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Preferred training in Pediatric, Obstetrical, or Surgical nursing.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Pediatric, Obstetrical, or Surgical settings preferred.
