About the position
Healthcare Heroes Wanted! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hemodialysis Registered Nurse to join our beautiful facility! As a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease.
Responsibilities
- Perform dialysis treatments on patients using hemodialysis machines
- Monitor patients' vital signs during dialysis treatments and adjust treatment parameters as necessary
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis treatment options and lifestyle changes
- Document patient care and treatment progress in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of hemodialysis experience
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
