About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the well-being of patients undergoing medical and surgical treatments. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Document all patient interactions and medical information accurately in the electronic health record (Cerner).
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Assist in the training of new nursing staff as needed.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred; critical care experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic health records (Cerner).
• Knowledge of anatomy, senior care, and working with people with disabilities is advantageous.

Nice-to-haves

• Skills in administering dermal fillers or medical imaging may be beneficial but are not required.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $55.00 to $61.00 per hour.
• Expected hours of 36 per week.
