About the position
The Registered Nurse Supervisor at Crittendon Home Care is responsible for overseeing the care of clients in their homes, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and providing support to both clients and their families. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment while supervising a team of caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to clients' homes and managing their care plans.
- Medication management.
- Overseeing all daily living tasks provided in the homes of the clients we service.
- Listening to the concerns of family members and answering their questions.
- Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
- Monitoring patient care, notes, and compliance with KDHE Rules and Regulations.
- Assisting in supervising the on-call and care schedule.
- Collaborating with the Nurse Administrator and/or Owners.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and act independently.
- Excellent report-writing skills.
- Active listening skills and empathy.
- Performance-driven attitude.
- Ability to fulfill evening/weekend on-call rotation duties.
- Willingness to travel within the coverage area of northeast Kansas.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1 year of supervising experience preferred.
