About the position
Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital is a new state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open in Spring 2024 in White Hall, AR. Operated jointly between Jefferson Regional Medical Center and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, this new 87,000 square foot 76-bed hospital, housing 40 inpatient rehabilitation beds with an additional 36 behavioral health beds, will be located just north of Pine Bluff and south of Little Rock. Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse
- CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred
- CRRN Preferred
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
